Jacob Qualls, PT, DPT, is a Tennessee native and Doctor of Physical Therapy with a focus on performance rehabilitation and sports orthopedics. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where his time in Army ROTC influenced his approach to physical training. With a range of certifications enhancing his treatment techniques, Jacob offers a well-rounded, hands-on approach to care.
During his clinical internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Jacob worked with military athletes and amputees recovering from orthopedic injuries, helping them regain strength, mobility, and function for active living. Now at Adapt Performance & Training, he uses a blend of manual therapy, tailored exercise programs, and movement analysis to support clients in achieving pain-free movement and optimal performance.
As an avid runner, Jacob has a particular passion for assisting runners in overcoming injuries and enhancing their performance to return to the activities they enjoy. Beyond his professional life, he keeps active by running with his dog Hank, exploring the outdoors with his girlfriend Danielle, and weightlifting, while also serving as a combat engineer in the National Guard. Whether you’re an athlete, an active adult, or someone aiming to recover from injury, boost performance, or avoid surgery, Dr. Qualls is dedicated to helping you meet your goals with skill and compassion.
