This month, we’re celebrating two incredible clients, Frank and Amy! Not only did they recently tie the knot, but they’ve also been crushing their fitness goals together. Their dedication to supporting each other in life and in the gym is truly inspiring. Here's what they had to say about training at ADAPT:
How many years have you been working out at Adapt?
Frank: I work out with a trainer three times a week—two days a week with Dr. Andy and one day a week with Jeremy for about 2 years.Amy: I've been training with Tyler at ADAPT for about six months now and it has been a game-changer!
Why did you choose to train at ADAPT?
Frank: I was working out independently and realized that, being in my 50s, I needed to focus on strength training. I’m focused on not losing muscle mass as I age, and strength training builds muscle mass and strengthens bones, the brain, etc. When I went heavier on the weights on my own, I started to hurt myself. I was not lifting the right amount of weight, I was not lifting with the best technique, and I was not using a breath of various workouts. This led to pain in different joints. I realized I needed proper guidance from a trained professional.
Amy: I was drawn in by their comprehensive fitness approach. It's much more than your average gym. From an on-site PA to chiropractic and acupuncture care, the entire team works together to help you be your best.
What goals Have You Achieved?
Frank: At Adapt, Andy and Jeremy have made me strong and fit and protected me from injury. Andy combined his rehabilitation knowledge with strength training, repairing my lower back and right elbow pains. It’s a great feeling to have been strength training for over two years, to be in my best shape, and to be still hitting personal lifting maxes without experiencing pain.
Amy: I've seen tremendous improvements in my strength and overall health. Tyler's expertise has helped me alleviate persistent soreness from an old rotator cuff injury and I feel stronger and more energized in all aspects of life.
Do You Have Any Advice For Other Members?
Frank: Don’t stop your strength training. As you age, the benefits of longevity, looking, and feeling great become addictive. I’m newly married, and she is loving the results, too.
Amy: ADAPT's sense of community is incredible! The camaraderie among members makes working out both fun and motivating.
